Cecil Kost

Cecil Kost

Chairman & CEO

Cecil Kost joined InDemand in August 2015 with more than 30 years of operating experience in the healthcare industry leading companies engaged in HCIT, distribution, clinical diagnostics and medical products manufacturing serving the entire spectrum of the healthcare delivery system. Cecil has served on the InDemand board of directors since 2013.

Most recently he served as President and CEO of Precision Dynamics Corp., the leading global manufacturer of patient identification solutions. Previously, Cecil led the development of the first “virtual drug sample closet” for physicians as CEO of MedManage Systems, contributed to the rapid expansion of SciQuest, Inc., leading to its initial public offering (IPO) and was credited for growing Curtin Matheson Scientific, Inc. into a powerhouse distributor and manufacturer of lab products to laboratories in the healthcare, academic research and industrial markets prior to its sale to Fisher International. Cecil holds a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University.

Andrew Drake

Mr Drake brings experience as a management consultant with firms such as Accenture and Slalom Consulting where he helped clients such as Expedia, Microsoft, Ford Motor, Bell South, Best Buy, and others achieve their goals through technology, operational excellence, and lean methodologies. With InDemand since 2009, he now leads interpreting operations. He is passionate about improving access to language services and sits on the board of the Washington Coalition for Language Access. His experience in language services and technology make him a perfect fit for InDemand Interpreting. He has an engineering degree from The University of Michigan.

Robert S. Nakahara

CFO

Bob Nakahara joined InDemand Interpreting in September 2015 with more than 20 years of experience leading financial success for organizations throughout the healthcare industry.

Prior to joining InDemand, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the Washington Health Benefit Exchange. The Exchange was created to implement a key provision of the Affordable Care Act and was recognized nationally as one of the most successful State-Based Exchanges. Previously, he was the chief financial officer for Qliance Medical Management, Inc., which owns and operates direct primary care clinics in Washington State. He has been a partner at Tatum Consulting, LLC, the CFO for MedManage Systems, Inc. and the Senior Vice President/CFO of PREMERA Blue Cross of Washington and Alaska. Mr. Nakahara serves his seventh consecutive three-year term as a trustee on the Washington State Investment Board, which included managing a $100 billion state retirement fund.

Chief Technology Officer

Michael Brothers joined InDemand in October 2016 with more than 22 years of technology experience. At InDemand he is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of Software Development, Network Operations and the IT Service Desk (Help Desk). Mike helped the company’s founders build the original network infrastructure for InDemand, and served as a technical advisory board member.
Most recently Mike was a Consulting Systems Architect for Cisco Systems, as part of a Global Mobility Architecture team focused on Mobile Service providers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint. His experience also includes systems and network engineering for Clearwire and West Safety Services. He is a resourceful leader who has been on the leading edge of designing and implementing novel approaches to make systems more robust and scalable. Mike holds a Computer and Systems Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Tom Snarsky

VP National Sales

Mr. Tom Snarsky has over 28 years of high tech medical capital sales and sales management experience. He has seventeen years of experience with start-up and growth stage companies managing the sale of disruptive technologies, most notably with the Cyberknife radiosurgery device at Accuray as Eastern Area VP of Sales, and Remote Presence robotic telemedicine platforms at InTouch Health as VP of Sales for the Eastern US. During his tenure at Accuray, his team in the Eastern Area represented over 60% of the worldwide sales, and he played a key role in helping to mature the company to an IPO in February 2007 (NASDAQ:ARAY). While at InTouch Health, he and his team were instrumental in impacting a growth in overall revenue from 2008 to 2013 from $8 million to $27 million. Mr. Snarsky received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University.

Casey Zanetti is a Marketing Executive with close to 20 years of experience in both B2C and B2B marketing and brand building. Building strong brands, increasing market awareness, and generating growth in startup environments is her passion. With more than a decade of her career devoted to the healthcare industry, she is committed to supporting the use of technology to help patients, family members and clinicians better manage patient care and ultimately outcomes. At InDemand Interpreting Casey is committed to ensuring that every patient in any medical setting receive the highest quality health care, regardless of language, cultural background or disability. Throughout her career Casey has benefited organizations with disruptive technologies, focused on rapid growth, meet their aggressive goals. She received her Master of Arts degree in Whole Systems Design from Antioch University.

Brian Douglas

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Brian Douglas comes to us most recently from technology integrator Carousel Industries. At Carousel, he was focused on building vertical solutions among partner technology companies for the Healthcare, Government and Education Markets. He created marketing plans, solution development roadmaps, sales training tools, and end user adoption guides, while managing major customer engagements.

As a Business Development Director for Carousel Industries and prior for Polycom, he regularly presented to senior executives, agency officials, and IT staffs on how to integrate video and audio collaboration tools into training, healthcare, or university programs. Through organizations such as HIMMS and the American Telemedicine Association, he also developed industry connections to find and obtain grant funding from both federal agencies and private foundations He also has clinical sales experience, spending 8 years with surgical and medical device companies including Stryker, Kyphon, and Medtronic. At Stryker, he was the two time National Sales Growth Award winner.

He earned an MBA while working in higher education as Chief Operations Officer at Alaska Pacific University. Brian has the ability to articulate ROI business case scenarios at the CIO/CFO/CEO level.

Debbie Lesser, CI, CT, CHI

Director of ASL Services & Medical Interpreter

Certified sign language interpreter since 1999, Mrs. Debbie Lesser holds a degree in Psychology with a focus in crisis intervention. She has worked in the video interpreting industry since 2007 and has served as the Operations Manager for two different VRS companies (both also provided VRI services). She has managed more than 160 interpreters - all of whom worked from independent call centers all over the country. Her medical interpreting experience is varied and comprehensive, in both remote and onsite settings. Mrs. Lesser has completed an intensive Certificate of Healthcare Interpreting (CHI) Program for ASL interpreters established by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She has also completed specialized medical trainings, for example in oncology with the University of California San Diego (UCSD), various medical systems with the CATIE Center, and mental health through Troy University, the Alabama Department of Mental Health and ADARA. Debbie is an interpreter for and the Director of ASL Services with InDemand Interpreting, a national company specializing in medical settings.
