Professional Development & Training
InDemand interpreters undergo a rigorous screening process to ensure they have completed testing, training and compliance with federal and state regulations, and we offer professional development and continuing education opportunities through the InDemand Interpreting Academy to hone skills and support continued growth. 40 hours of medical interpreting training

Interpreters receive training on the cultural nuances and sensitives that are required when interpreting for many unique cultures in a medical environment.
Performance Monitoring
InDemand has a robust silent monitoring program to measure on the job performance to evaluate interpreters. The results are used to provide feedback for training, interpreter coaching and professional development goals.
Third-Party Evaluation
All InDemand interpreters take and pass a medically focused interpreting assessments in both their target language as well as in English

100 percent of our ASL interpreters are credentialed by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and meet state licensure compliance.
On average, our ASL interpreters have more than 15 years of experience in a video environment and 17 years of experience in medical interpreting
Certified Deaf Interpreters
To provide the best possible care to Deaf patients, InDemand also offers Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDIs), enabling providers to obtain a more complete picture of a Deaf patient’s healthcare needs and history while patients gain a deeper understanding of their diagnosis and or treatment plan. Our CDIs meet or exceed the same standards as all other ASL interpreters on our team.
