This Policy applies to all personal information received by InDemand Interpreting through its interpreting application and service, its website and in person.

Privacy is a serious issue at InDemand Interpreting, one every employee thinks about every day. Foremost, we safeguard the personal HIPAA protected healthcare information of medical patients. We never disclose our healthcare customers’ usage data. We do not share or sell contact information for our customers’ employees, participants in InDemand Interpreting activities both online and off, or our website visitors and subscribers.

Data Collection

At the request of our customers, we may collect a patient’s medical record number during an interpreting call. This is the only patient data InDemand Interpreting collects and stores. We include it in each call record for use by the patient’s healthcare provider.

InDemand Interpreting may collect data online through sign-ups and forms, at events and in person. This data may be used to deliver requested information, fulfill subscriptions and for marketing or sales. We do not sell of give away contact information. We may provide data to vendors and partners with the express agreement it is used only for InDemand Interpreting business and will not be permanently stored.

When producing recordings or video for training or promotion, only simulated interpreting sessions are included and never actual patient calls. Interpreting calls may be recorded for employee evaluation and instruction.

Employees are HIPAA trained and tested. InDemand Interpreting abides by the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable rules and regulations.

Data Integrity

InDemand Interpreting protects customer information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Employees comply with confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions in agreements between InDemand Interpreting and its customers, affiliates, suppliers, and employees. InDemand Interpreting stores customer information on secure servers located in secure premises and in secure data centers. Databases require login IDs and passwords to access information.

Personal contact information used in sales and marketing may be stored in secure third-party applications and databases. We use only vendors with policies and systems that meet InDemand Interpreting’s privacy policy standard.


Individuals may request InDemand Interpreting to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information about themselves.


InDemand Interpreting uses a self-assessment approach to assure compliance with this Privacy Policy and periodically verifies that the policy is accurate, comprehensive for the information intended to be covered, prominently displayed, completely implemented and accessible.

We encourage interested persons to raise any concerns using the contact information provided and we will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of personal information.


This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time. The Company will post any revised policy on this website.

Information Subject to Other Policies

The Company is committed to following the Principles for all Personal Information within the scope of the Safe Harbor Agreement. However, certain information is subject to policies of the Company that may differ in some respects from the general policies set forth in this Privacy Policy.
